How to - Solve LaserJet 3050 All in One won't scan in Windows 10 issue

 The issue was caused from the old firmware in this case.

The firmware version can be found from the Menu  > Reports > Config Report, which can be printed .
In this case the old firmware was 20060606, under product information.


If your firmware is older the the one listed on the Hp page, 20120829 ( 5 Oct 2012 ), go to Hp official page:

http://goo.gl/cQR5OM ,  and proceed to download and save it.


Then you can follow with caution the steps posted on the installation tab on the above Hp
